WHAT MAKES HIM AN AWESOME TUTOR

I believe my open minded approach is what makes me a great tutor. I always try to tailor lessons to students' needs, as well as creating fun challenges based around their interests outside of school.

FUN FACTS

Life Goal: I hope to one day work in Quantum Computing research.

Words to Live By: "Don't cry over spilled milk" always reminds me to keep moving forward and not let my mistakes define my approaches.

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: "The sanity check" is my favourite step in approaching any problem. The more complicated they get, the easier it is to get lost in all the equations. Thus, it is always helpful to take a break and try to think of if what you're writing down actually applies to what you're working on so you don't end up with, say, negative values for mass.

Education: Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Physics Specialist with Mathematics Minor.

Fave Tech device: My iPad was definitely a life saver when it came to organising notes in university, and I still use it when creating agendas or calendars.

Fave Book: Dreaming in Cuban - Cristina García

Fave Song: This changes all the time but it is currently It Never Entered My Mind - Miles Davis Quintet

Fave Outfit: Can't go wrong with jeans and a nice polo.

Fave TV Show: House MD and Community are definitely the shows I rewatch the most.

Fave Movie: Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse is a classic for me.

When you're not crunching numbers: I love playing soccer or basketball at Christie Pitts Park. I've also been learning French and Spanish and have recently picked up crocheting!

What's the best thing about you? That I try my best to help those around me.
