WHAT MAKES HIM AN AWESOME TUTOR

I know all too well the art of knowing everything and still freezing mid test. I'm a tutor who cherishes confidence a lot because I know that stuff doesn't grow on trees. When you find yourself thinking there's nobody who can help you, I want to be the person to change that. My goal isn't just to help you find the right answers, but to help you feel like you can find them yourself.

FUN FACTS

Life goal: I'd like to go to a Comiket with friends one day.

Words to Live By: “A dollar a day is a million eventually.”

Favorite Mathematical Weapon:
Cheat sheets! (I am obligated to tell you to not actually use them to cheat.) Before any quiz, pretend you can bring a sheet of paper with whatever you want handwritten on it. Congratulations! You would have just created the perfect unit outline with all the important ideas/formulas in one place. Keep them all at the end of the semester and you'll realize studying the final exam takes nearly half the time.

GET TO KNOW JASON

When you're not crunching numbers: I make a lot of bubble tea and play a lot of Maplestory:)

What’s the best thing about you? Mama didn't raise a quitter! If you ask me something I don't know, or there was a solution we didn't get to finish together, I'll do my very best to send you something as soon as I'm home. There's also a non-zero chance that you'll get something back if you hit me up at like 2am so feel free to try your luck.

NERD ALERT!

I love simulating stuff. In video games, there might be equipment that you can roll for a certain stat and those stats have a range of values it can take on. I'm always curious about things such as how many attempts it would take on average to get the gear I want or what the expected cost might be. I can also simulate a bunch of card decks to see if you correctly calculated the probability of a shuffled deck containing 3 consecutive kings somewhere in the deck.
