WHAT MAKES HER AN AWESOME TUTOR
What makes me a great tutor is the way I connect with students and break things down so they feel manageable. I've learned through my own studies in biology, immunology, and computer science that not everyone learns the same way, so I always try to adapt, sometimes that means step-by-step explanations, sometimes visuals, or even real-life examples. I'm patient and approachable, and I think that makes students comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment.

Life Goal: My life goal is to become a dentist so that I can combine my interest in science with my passion for helping people. I want to provide care that not only improves oral health but also helps patients feel more confident and comfortable. Along the way, I hope to continue learning, giving back to my community, and using my skills to make a real difference in people's lives.
Words to Live By: A quote I live by is Albert Einstein's: "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." I carry this with me in everything I do, whether it's volunteering in healthcare, tutoring, or working toward my goal of becoming a dentist.
Favourite Mathematical Weapon: My favourite mathematical weapon is drawing the problem out. Whether it's a graph, a diagram, or just a quick sketch, visualizing the situation always helps me see patterns and connections I might miss in numbers alone. It makes complex problems feel more approachable and gives me a clear roadmap to follow, and I love teaching students how a simple picture can turn something confusing into something that finally clicks.

Education: 4th year Biology & Immunology at the University of Toronto
Fave Tech device: The tech device I can't live without is definitely my laptop. It's where I do everything, studying, research, and even creative projects. It keeps me organized, connected, and able to switch between school, volunteering, and personal projects seamlessly. Honestly, it's the one tool that supports every part of my life.
Fave Book: My favourite book is Harry Potter. I know it's a bit repetitive because I've read it so many times, but I always find comfort in going back to it. The story feels familiar yet exciting every time, and it's one of those books that never really gets old for me.
Fave Song: My favourite song is Save Your Tears (remix) by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande. I've listened to it so many times that it feels catchy, emotional, and always puts me in a good mood. Also has two of my favorite artists!
Fave Outfit: My favourite outfit is semi-casual, I like to be comfortable but still look put together. Something like a nice top with jeans or casual pants makes me feel ready for the day while still being relaxed. It's the balance between comfy and polished that makes me feel the most confident.
Fave TV Show: My favourite TV show is Breaking Bad. I love how intense and well-written the story is, and it's one of those shows I can rewatch and still notice new details each time. I also really enjoy Attack on Titan and Avatar: The Last Airbender
Fave Movie: My favourite movies that I can watch over and over again are Harry Potter, Interstellar, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. They're all so different, but each one draws me in. No matter how many times I rewatch them, I always notice something new.
When you're not crunching numbers: When I'm not tutoring or studying, I love spending time baking or drawing, it's a fun creative outlet for me. I also enjoy relaxing with my family and hanging out with my cat, which is always the best stress relief.
What's the best thing about you? I think the best thing about me is that I'm adaptable and patient. Whether I'm tutoring, working on a project, or helping out in a new environment, I can adjust quickly and stay calm while finding solutions. It also makes me approachable, people feel comfortable coming to me for help, and I genuinely enjoy supporting others.
NERD ALERT!
Something "nerdy" about me is that I absolutely love to read. I'm always carrying a book around or finding time to dive into one. It's my favourite way to learn new things, escape into stories, and just spend my free time.
