what makes him an awesome tutor
As a tutor, I believe it is just as important to learn how to study mathematics as it is to understand its concepts and theories. That is why I make a conscious effort to develop student’s ability to independently learn and problem solve. In addition to sharing my passion for mathematics and its real-world applications, I like to keep a fun and light-hearted mood during every session.
Life Goal: To jump out of a plane (skydive) and obtain my PhD in Mathematics. Hopefully, one doesn’t preclude the other.
Words to Live By: “When you struggle with a problem, that’s when you understand it… Anyone who struggled at the heart of a problem never forgets it” – Elon Musk
Favourite Mathematical Weapon: Time and patience! When studying math, it is always difficult to gage how much time you need to understand and master a new concept. That is why giving yourself ample time and being patient with the learning process is the most powerful weapon.
