what makes her an awesome tutor

Math and science are my strong subjects, but helping people is my passion!  Every interaction for me is a chance at shaping a future. This combination of know-how and compassion drives me to teach in new and interesting ways that cater to each student’s unique way of thinking and understanding concepts. I take great pride in making connections with my students, and their progress is my ultimate goal. Having the opportunity to work with children of different ages has taught me to “speak their language”.

fun facts

Life Goal: Mainly to be happy… but my dream would be to open up a sports-oriented school for underprivileged students.

Words to Live By: “When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.”- Jacob Riis

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: Visuality- Drawing diagrams, creating patterns and explaining concepts on a scrap paper is the best way to work through problems.
