what makes him an awesome tutor
Growing up, I wasn’t the best student - and it took some really amazing teachers and tutors to help me develop a love for learning. Now that I have the opportunity, I’m looking forward to helping today’s students develop that same passion for knowledge. While school might not always be fun or easy, and there may always be something else you’d rather be doing - the ultimate goal of my tutoring sessions is to have each of my students walk away being glad they came, while knowing they learnt something valuable, and had fun in the process. I take pride in what I do, and as such I do my utmost to connect with every student personally, and help them be as successful as possible. I love seeing other people succeed more than I enjoy succeeding myself, and I look forward to bringing that attitude to The Math Guru!
Life Goal: Living to my fullest potential. You never know which direction life will take you, but as long as I can look back on my decisions with confidence and no regrets - I’ll be happy - which is the ultimate goal!

When you're not crunching numbers: I LOVE sports, so I spend a lot of time watching, and playing, different sports. I also volunteer coaching a minor hockey team! Beyond that, I work at my Synagogue as the Youth Advisor, so I run all types of different youth programs for students in Grades 7-12. Like anybody else, I love spending time with family and friends - but mostly hanging out with my dog, Chloe!
What's the best thing about you? I’d have to say it’s probably the fact that I can’t say “no”! I have a tendency to want to help people as best I can, and do whatever I can to make other people’s lives easier. I also hate passing up an opportunity to do something fun, and can be relied on to never turn down an invitation!
I love numbers and patterns. I have a strange ability to remember phone numbers, addresses and licence plates after seeing them just one time. From my friend’s Dad, to my 2nd cousin from Montreal. If I’ve seen it once, it’s etched into my memory forever.
