I LOVE MATH! Seriously, it is kinda scary. I was not always the best at math, and I know where students tend to get frustrated because I made the same mistakes. I like teaching the same concept a few different ways so students can pick the one that is best suited for them.
Life Goal: Own my own Structural Engineering Company.

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: The derivative. So many concepts rely on this simple tool. It is used in Math to calculate slopes and curvature, in Physics to find distance, velocity, and acceleration, and It could also help eliminate risk and save you money in the business world.

Fave Band: Hard to name one, so here’s two, the Gorillas and Rise Against.
Fave Book: “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, it really gave me a different outlook on life.
Fave Outfit: Jeans, T-shirt, Fitted Hat, and Nike’s on my feet.
Fave TV Show: With Netflix around I am on a new show every couple of weeks, but here’s a few: Breaking Bad, Prison Break, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Fave Movie: A Beautiful Mind
When you're not crunching numbers: I am usually on my laptop building structures using AutoCAD, or hanging out with friends. In the spring and summer you can usually find me on my bike exploring the city.
What’s the best thing about you? I am a morning person. I think that when you wake up early you can accomplish so much more in a day. I tend to feel the need to be constantly productive and usually finish all my homework way ahead of time.
I memorize mental math tricks whenever I get the chance. It does turn out to be pretty useful though!
